ABOUT

Fern Watt is an author, writer, TV personality, and founder of the New York Dog Parade, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings people together through original dog-themed events while helping dogs and humans in need. Her books have been translated into over 20 languages and optioned for film.

Endlessly inspired by dog-human friendships, she has traveled the world meeting and interviewing all sorts of inspiring two- and four-legged friends. Her work has been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, BBC, The Wall Street Journal, The L.A. Times, The Times U.K., and she’s partnered with brands like Framebridge, Get Joy, Dogs of Instagram, The Dodo, and more. Fern resides on the Upper West Side with her mischievous mutt, Bette; couch-loving Labradoodle, Oscar; and favorite human, Max. Coincidentally, she’s also named after a dog.
